Ideally with 4 weeks to go, I ain’t got no plans. But even the stern urban tone in my previous sentence doesn’t free up my schedule. There’s a friend’s baby shower to attend- which right there shows that this “friend” is stealing our thunder- as well as the using of our many gift cards from our own baby shower last week. If we don’t go now I can’t imagine squeezing in time later on between pre and post birth. I thought we were supposed to relax!

Many folk recommend (even though we don’t ask for their recommendation) that we try to “get away” and “relax” before our daughter invades our space. With all that remains I prefer even a day at the movies…but by the time we can finally go…
